BODYCORP is able to assist developers from the day the architect commences his/her drawings.

By getting involved early we are able to assist in the process of registering the Plan Of Subdivision from a licensed Surveyor in accordance with the Subdivisions Act 1988. The plan of subdivision will be detailed enough to enable it to be submitted to Council.

BODYCORP may assist with calculating each property lot entitlement and liability, in consultation with the developer. We also assist with;

  • Preparation of the proposed budget incorporating all lots in the development
  • Preparation of additional body corporate rules, for the better management and running of the development
  • Supply all necessary documentation in relation to the Body Corporate and a Plan of Subdivision, to enable your nominated solicitor to prepare a section 32-vendor statement in accordance with the Sale of Land Act.
  • Provide an information sheet on the Body Corporate functions to selling agents so they can be provided to purchasers
  • Arrange strata insurance which gets adjusted at settlement reimbursing the developer on a pro-rata basis
  • Schedule the Inaugural Body Corporate Meeting
  • Provide advice on common property issues which can benefit the owner
  • Provide Form 3 as required
  • Schedule an annual general meeting with owners once the property has settled
